Brandol-diffusers are very proven duroplast diffusers mainly used for the aeration of waste water for more than 50 years. These are composed of pure quartz sand bonded with a resin binder to form a stable, mechanically strong porous element. Due to the exactly defined quartz grain size distribution and a well controlled production method the Brandol cylinders and discs have a remarkably homogeneous porous structure. This results in a very uniform air distribution and bubble release.
